Altibox

Altibox has delivered internet, TV and telephony services over fiber-optic cable since 2002. The headquarters is located at Mariero in Stavanger. 

The best technologists in Norway with free rein on a fibre-optic network with almost unlimited capacity have delivered outstanding innovation and product development. Customers with IP telephony can use their mobile telephones to call via a wireless network and the home phone with Norwegian home phone rates from anywhere in the world. In December 2011 Altibox was the first TV provider in Norway to launch a big package of linear TV channels on computers, tablet computers and smartphones. Today customers can hire (VOD) or buy (EST) movies and series on their favorite screen, and can even watch numerous TV-channels both within and outside their home network.  

Altibox customers have always appreciated their bandwidth. Already back in 2008 Altibox' delivered gigabit internet (1000/1000 megabits per second) to a private customer. In Easter 2012 Altibox supplied a line with an almost inconceivable capacity of 200 gigabits per second to the huge computer event The Gathering. Today villa customers have 40/40 megabit per second or even more, and in 2016 all Altibox villa customersoffe was offered gigabit internet. 

The national and independent survey EPSI shows that Altibox have the most satisfied broadband and TV customers nine years in a row.
