Viken Fiber AS

Viken Fiber is the largest provider of fibre-optic network in Norway. Viken Fiber sells Altibox products to private and business customers in Buskerud, Oslo, Vestfold, Østfold and Grenland.

Viken Fiber is Norway's largest pure fiber company, headquartered in Drammen. The company builds and operates fiber networks and supplies broadband services in more than 70 municipalities in Buskerud, Oslo, Akershus, Vestfold, Østfold and Telemark.

Viken Fiber was formed in 2013 following a merger with the companies Viken Fibernett AS, Skagerak Fiber AS, EB Kontakt AS, EB Fibernett AS and BOF AS. In September 2019, Viken Fiber merged with Fiber1 (Lier Fibernett AS and Hadeland og Ringerike Bredbånd). Viken Fiber is owned by Lyse Fiberinvest (65 %), Glitre Energi (26,5 %), Lier Everk Holding (4,6 %) and Hadeland Energi (3,9 %).
